Mealz On Wheelz is owned and operated by Chris and Katie, a husband-and-wife team whose story started long before the trailer hit the road.
Chris was raised in Oklahoma, where he first found his passion for food service. He went on to serve in the United States Navy while earning his college degree, later continuing his education with an MBA and a Master’s in Supply Chain Management. His background in operations, leadership, and building high-performance systems now drives the engine behind Mealz On Wheelz.
Katie began her career in healthcare as an LPN before joining the United States Navy in 2010. After her service, she continued advancing her education—earning both her ADN and BSN—while raising three children and working full-time as a registered nurse. Her attention to detail, care for people, and ability to operate under pressure shape the experience behind the window every day.
Their story together started in a place most people wouldn’t expect:
👉 Boot Camp.
Chris and Katie joined the Navy on the same day and were placed in the same division. Not long after, they began dating—and by the time they reached their first duty stations in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, they were married and building a life together.
That same foundation—discipline, resilience, and commitment—is what Mealz On Wheelz is built on today.
But above all, their journey is grounded in something deeper.

Through every step—service, family, and now building this business—they’ve trusted in His guidance, especially in the moments where the path wasn’t always clear.

What started as conversations about food, ideas, and “what if we built something of our own?” turned into long nights, early mornings, and a vision that refused to stay an idea.
